It's been over a year now and there hasn't really been an update on the remake, so is it still happening or is it dead?
New work arrangements prevent me from producing or working with NSFW images for the forseeable future, unfortunately.

Will the game environments be full 3D or just still images?

It's a 2D game, with pre-rendered 3D.
Unfortunately, my work situation has changed and I'm unable to do the renders on my work computer any more. So I'm not sure when this project will be able to move forward.
Unless you know any artists (any style!!) I can still do the design, programming and writing but the art side is pretty much dead :(
